INTERSPACE X
an in studio dance intensive cultivating inspiration, education and artistry.
INTERSPACE X is designed to be an in-house intensive style environment that creates a nurturing, educational and creative space for dancers to grow their knowledge of concert contemporary style movement. We as educators and leaders of this community aim to better equip dancers with knowledge of how to start, sustain and thrive in a dance career and encourage self development in the process. Resident and guest faculty lead an individualized learning experience of a skillful level in this few day experience. Dancers will expand their understanding of technical basics, improvisation, choreography as well as who they are as an artist and what they are capable of contributing to the space. The intensive integrates open discussion classes on topics such as self identity, studying and discussing professional dance companies, college seminars and mentoring sessions for the dancers to participate in. We also offer the option to gain professional film and photography to add to the dancers reels, profiles. And resumes to elevate their audition material. This individualized, personal and supportive approach is unlike any other intensive experience.
